Driven by the global “dual carbon” target, the market attention for environmentally friendly cables continues to rise. Environmentally friendly cables usually refer to cable products that comply with international standards such as RoHS and REACH, do not contain harmful heavy metals, have low smoke and halogen-free combustion, and are environmentally and human friendly. The European Union and other overseas markets have put forward strict environmental access requirements for imported cables. Domestic cable companies are accelerating the research and development of environmentally friendly materials, and new technologies such as halogen-free flame-retardant polyolefin materials and biobased materials are gradually maturing.
